OUT OF SCHOOL HOURS CARE
Our Out of School Hours program operates out of the multipurpose hall between 3.30pm-6.30pm daily. On curriculum days, if numbers warrant, we run a program from 8.30pam-6.30pm.
All our OSHC team members are caring, committed and qualified individuals.
We are a registered and accredited program (we recently received the highest rating possible from the National Childcare Accreditation Council) giving us CCB funding from the Commonwealth Government for 30 funded places at Aftercare.
This enables all families to access Child care Benefits, which can be obtained from the Family Assistance Office (FAO)-to assist with fees.
The fee reduction is in accordance with the familys annual income and is managed through the Childcare Management System (CCMS).Families need to contact the FAO in order to obtain a Customer Reference Number (CRN) on 136150
The OSHC program offers both indoor and outdoor experiences. It gives the choice of structured activities and creates opportunities for children to initiate their own play and have choice to materials, encouraging decision making and independence.
The program encourages children to initiate and participate in recreational experiences, supporting their physical, creative, aesthetic development.
The programming process caters for all needs, interests and abilities s of all children.
We also have funding for the Active Afterschool Communities. This is a government funded initiative that allows us to offer a range of physical activities that have included archery, soccer, circus skills, drama, cheerleading, tennis and Taekwondo, all with qualified coaches and at no extra costs to families.
A healthy afternoon tea and fresh fruit are available every afternoon.

The program is children centred and play-based, options are provided and children encouraged to make choices and have input into every area of the program.
